Akhil Akkineni has expressed his support for his mother, Amala Akkineni, after she spoke out against Konda Surekha’s controversial claims linking BRS leader KT Rama Rao to the divorce of actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Surekha’s comments sparked outrage on social media, prompting strong reactions from celebrities and fans.

Amala Akkineni slammed Surekha for her “evil fictions” and “scandalous stories” about her husband. She called the minister’s behavior “shameful” and questioned the state of the country if leaders stoop to such lows.

Akhil shared his mother’s sentiments, calling Surekha a “sociopath.” Allu Arjun also condemned the baseless derogatory comments made against film personalities and families, emphasizing the importance of respect and dignity in society. Chiranjeevi echoed these sentiments, stating that the film industry stands united against such vicious verbal assaults.

Konda Surekha had alleged that KT Rama Rao demanded Samantha’s presence in exchange for not demolishing Nagarjuna Akkineni’s N-Convention Centre. She claimed that Samantha’s refusal contributed to her separation from Naga Chaitanya.
