A Wonderful Journey Cast, OTT, Budget, Box Office, And More
The series centers around the stories of the family and employees of “Huali Taxi Company,” one of the oldest taxi businesses in Chiayi. It offers a glimpse into various aspects of society at the time through their perspectives. Following the devastating earthquake of 1999, while the world was gripped by fears of a millennium apocalypse, the two Chen brothers, Bo-wen and Bo-han, faced a pivotal moment in their lives-whether to take over the taxi business. “Huali” is burdened with debts and bad loans, and its members face the harsh realities of societal rejection. Yet, each of them possesses an unyielding spirit, holding onto the belief that “as long as the car keeps moving forward, no problem is insurmountable.” They embrace the journey with optimism, determined to live as “joyful hard workers” who bravely navigate the challenges of life. The names of all the taxi drivers in the series-Ah-Xi, Ah-Li, Ah-Xia, Ah-Xin, Ah-Hong, Ah-Lou, and Ah-Rong-are derived from the names of various chicken rice restaurants in Chiayi City.
