3. Adult-rated version of ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’


Ranbir Kapoor who is winning applause for his performance in the movie’s trailer has labeled the movie as an adult-rated version of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. “Animal is basically the adult-rated Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. If I had to describe this story in a line, then it’s about a man who goes to any length to protect his family. That’s what the core of the film is,” he said.

In an interview, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said, “The title reflects the hero’s instinctive behavior, which will be akin to animals.”
