According to box office trading platform Sacnilk, Animal witnessed a significant rise in occupancy on day 2, particularly in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi/NCR, Pune, and Hyderabad. The Telugu version of the film also performed well, drawing a strong audience in Hyderabad.

Vijay, played by Ranbir Kapoor, is an anti-hero who stops at nothing to protect his father, even resorting to violent acts.
