Thangalaan Trailer Out: Chiyaan Vikram Looks Unrecognisable In Movie Based On Actual History Of Kolar Gold Fields Aka KGF | Watch

The trailer for the movie “Thangalaan” is out, and fans are excited to see Chiyaan Vikram on the big screen again. The movie takes place during the time when the British ruled India. It tells the story of a tribal leader who fights against the British when they try to take his land to mine gold.

Besides Vikram, the movie also stars Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, and several other actors.

The director, Pa Ranjith, explained that the story happens in the KGF gold mines during the time of the British rule. The oppressed people who worked in the mines wanted freedom. The story is about their leader and whether or not he was able to make their dreams come true.

The action scenes in the movie are unique. One of the choreographers, Stunner Sam, talked about a scene where Vikram performed while surrounded by real fire. There were no special effects used to make this scene.

The story is based on the real history of the Kolar Gold Fields. The British found these gold mines over 200 years ago and took advantage of them for their own gain.

The movie is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green, which is the same company that produced other popular films. The movie will be released worldwide in August 2024 and will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
