Salaar Producer Says THIS About Actor Yash’s Cameo In Prabhas-Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Action Movie

The upcoming movie “Salaar: Part One – Ceasefire” by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran is all set to hit theaters on December 22nd! The trailer got everyone hyped, and there were even whispers that Yash from “KGF” might make a special appearance in the film directed by Prashanth Neel. But the producer, Vijay Kiragandur, has shut down those rumors for now.

Yash’s cameo in Prabhas?

Talking about the potential cameo, Vijay clarified told India Today, “I believe [director] Prashanth has already clarified that there’s no connection [between KGF and Salaar]. There is no cameo in the movie, so that information isn’t accurate.”

The speculations surrounding Yash’s cameo in ‘Salaar’ stemmed from a slip made by child singer Theertha Subhash, who accidentally mentioned ‘KGF’ actor’s involvement in the film. However, she later clarified through a post, stating, “I have seen the ‘KGF’ movie many times. When the opportunity arose, my father had said that ‘Salaar’s’ music and and it was with the ‘KGF’ team. So, I had in my mind that Yash uncle will also be in ‘Salaar’. It was in that assumption, that I said his name.”

Meanwhile, ‘Salaar’ has got an ‘A’ certificate from the censor board due to its intense high-octane action sequences. The film, which stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is anticipated to be an action-packed spectacle, garnering significant attention in advance bookings from the UAE and international markets. The movie also features Shruti Haasan.
