Prabhas Reveals His ‘Best’ Critic, Says He Enjoyed Performing THESE Scenes in Salaar | Exclusive
Prabhas had a great start to the year! His movie “Salaar” made almost Rs 400 crore in India and even broke some records. Directed by Prashanth Neel (of KGF fame), it was a big hit with fans.
While people online talked about what they liked, Prabhas shared who his biggest critic is: his mom! He said, “In my family, my mother is my best critic.”
The movie came out on Christmas, and fans have been sharing their favorite parts ever since. Now, Prabhas revealed what he loved most, and it wasn’t the action scenes:
“The way fans reacted to the action and intense moments is thanks to my director,” he said. “I’m happy if my director is happy on set and my fans are happy in theatres. There were a few scenes I really enjoyed doing, not just the action but also the emotional scenes between mother and son, and between two best friends.”
So, basically: Salaar was a big hit, fans loved it, and Prabhas is happy as long as his mom and director are happy too! And he really liked those emotional scenes, not just the action.
“Essentially, I am a director’s actor. My director wanted me to portray both innocence and a monstrous quality simultaneously, according to what the scenes demanded. Deva is a man who has specific emotions, triggered by his mother and, especially, his friend. Anything connected to them influences his character, and that’s how he emotes. I performed based on what the director wanted, especially when it came to scenes connected to my mother and friend,” Prabhas said.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Prabhas joined the cast and crew of Salaar to celebrate the success of the film. Prabhas was seen alongside director Prashanth Neel, Prithviraj Sukumaran, music composer Ravi Basrur and distributor Anil Thadani, celebrating the box office success of the film.
