Why “Devara” became a two-part movie:

During this conversation, Jr. NTR explained why “Devara” is now being released in two parts instead of just one. He said that when they started making the movie, they didn’t plan for it to be so long. But as they worked on the story, it just kept growing!

Imagine a plant that keeps growing taller and taller, with more and more leaves and branches. That’s what happened with “Devara.” The story became so big and exciting, with so many interesting characters, that they couldn’t fit it all into one movie.

Jr. NTR said he told the director, Koratala Siva, to keep writing and not hold back. They were both so passionate about the story and the characters that they didn’t realize how long the movie was becoming.

When they finally finished the first half of the movie, it was already five hours long! That’s like watching two or three movies back-to-back!

They realized they had to make a decision. Should they cut parts of the story, or should they make it into two movies? In the end, they decided to split it into two parts. This way, they could tell the whole story properly, without rushing or leaving anything out.
