Bobby Deol Talks About Amazing 2023 For Deol Brothers after Animal and Gadar 2: “We are each other’s strengths…”

Bobby Deol’s captivating portrayal in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial venture, “Animal,” has garnered widespread acclaim. Despite the film’s mixed reviews, Deol’s performance as the antagonist has been lauded, and the film continues to break box office records. While some fans lament his limited screen time, Deol relishes the opportunity to showcase his acting prowess on the big screen.

In a candid interview with Bollywood Hungama, Bobby Deol delved into the career setbacks that he and his elder brother, Sunny Deol, had to endure. Despite facing numerous challenges, 2023 has emerged as a triumphant year for the Deol brothers, with Animal shattering box office records and Gadar 2 achieving phenomenal success. Bobby said, “He (Sunny Deol) was a bigger star than me, and then he lost that. I was a star. But before I could become anything bigger, my career went down. Yes, it is difficult, but he’s never lost self-belief ever. He’s a very strong man and he always believed that he just needed those kinds of people to believe in him. Those kinds of subjects would come his way. He proved it because 22 years later, he made a sequel to a film, which was made 22 years ago to break records. My brother’s the best.”

“We are each other’s strengths, each other’s weaknesses because I can’t do without them and that’s my weakness. When I’m with them, I feel so strong,” Bobby added.

Talking about the massive success of Gadar 2, Bobby said, “I felt on top of the world. You see him now and how he’s feeling from me, he’s so happy. He keeps telling me ‘Come on. We have to get together.’ I say ‘Yeah, we will have a get-together. We have to celebrate.’ But I’ve just been doing things and promoting and all.”

Animal was released in theatres on December 1, 2023 and has collected Rs. 246.23 crores in India.
