BLACKPINK Jennie Officially Acquires Trademark For Her English Name Jennie Ruby Jane: Report

Blackpink singer Jennie now legally owns the rights to her English name, Jennie Ruby Jane, in South Korea. She applied for this in early 2023 and the official process is finally finished.
Jennie’s real name is Kim Jennie, but she used her English name when she lived in New Zealand as a child. She also used it for her acting role in the HBO show The Idol and for her Instagram and YouTube accounts.

She also applied to trademark her name in the US, which made fans think she might release new music on her own.
Jennie mentioned her first solo album at a big fashion event and will release it through her new company, ODD ATELIER.
Recently, Jennie was criticized for vaping indoors and had to apologize through her agency.
