Hina Khan Turns Hair Loss Into Strength Amid Cancer Battle; Creates Wig From Her Own Hair

Hina Khan, diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, faced the reality of hair loss due to chemotherapy. Instead of feeling defeated, she chose a proactive approach. Before treatment began, she cut her healthy hair to make a wig, providing comfort during this tough time.

In her post, Hina shared, “I knew I’d lose my hair. I cut it off on my own terms while it was still healthy. I made a wig of my OWN hair for comfort. It was empowering, and I’m proud.”

Hina’s message extends beyond her experience. She encourages others facing similar challenges to consider doing the same. “It will make at least one thing much easier and you will feel better,” she assured.

Wearing the wig made from her own hair brings Hina comfort and a sense of normalcy. “It feels like I am reunited with my lost hair. It feels good, cosy, and like home,” she shared.

Hina also expressed gratitude for the support she has received. “I am just blown away with the positivity you guys send me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know the world is praying for me.”
