Story:

Baahubali 2 picks up where the first film left off, with Katappa revealing to Shivudu (Mahendra Baahubali’s son) the true story of his father’s sacrifice. We learn how Amarendra Baahubali, the rightful heir to the Mahishmati throne, was betrayed by his own brother Bhallaladeva and forced into exile. He falls in love with Devasena, the queen of another kingdom, and they have a son together. However, Bhallaladeva pursues them and eventually kills Amarendra. Katappa, sworn to protect Sivagami, is forced to kill Amarendra to fulfill his duty. Shivudu, fueled by his father’s story, vows to avenge his death and reclaim his rightful place as king. He leads a rebellion against Bhallaladeva and ultimately defeats him in a epic battle, freeing Devasena and his people.
