Jhanak 13th August 2024 Written Update: Aniruddha’s request makes Jhanak surprised

The episode starts with Aniruddha talking to Jhanak. He asks her to let Arshi win the competition. He thinks this will help Arshi regain her confidence after her accident. If Arshi loses, she might feel defeated in life. Jhanak is surprised and upset by Aniruddha’s request. She can’t believe he would ask her to do this, especially after leaving Kolkata. She rudely refuses, saying she doesn’t care about him or his life.

Aniruddha pleads with Jhanak, reminding her of how he helped her in the past. He tells her she’ll have many other chances to succeed in life and that many good people support her unconditionally. But if Arshi loses this competition, she’ll be devastated. Jhanak says she would do anything for Aniruddha but can’t do this for Arshi. Aniruddha is surprised by her harsh behavior and watches her leave, feeling upset.

Later, the competition resumes, and Arshi and Jhanak are called on stage to perform together. They both dance well, but in the middle of the performance, Jhanak stops, pretending to forget the steps. Brijbhushan and Srishti, their teachers, think Jhanak genuinely forgot the steps and feel proud of themselves. Aniruddha feels sorry for Jhanak, not wanting this to discourage her. Arshi feels proud, thinking she’s winning. Brijbhushan and Srishti praise Arshi, and Srishti feels particularly proud of her daughter. The anchor asks the judges for the result, but before they announce it, Kumar Sanu is called on stage to perform. His performance is so good that everyone enjoys it.

Meanwhile, Appu, a young girl, talks in her sleep, mentioning Lalan’s name and saying Lalan has a high fever. The family is surprised to hear this, wondering how Appu and Lalan got so close. Appu asks them to bring Lalan to the Bose house because she wants to see her. Tanuja and Bipasha insult Appu for caring about a poor girl from the slums. They are upset that Appu always seems to prefer people from lower social classes. The Bose family also learns that Jhanak is competing in the same event as Arshi.

When the anchor announces the results and Jhanak is declared the runner-up, Rudra and Aditya are upset. They didn’t expect Jhanak to lose. Aniruddha feels guilty for asking Jhanak to let Arshi win.

The episode ends with Aditya offering to take Jhanak to a movie, and she accepts in front of Aniruddha, trying to make him jealous.
