The show also ranked fourth among the most watched daily soaps on Indian television ever. The soap opera tells the tale of the Wadhwa family and its daughter-in-law, Kumkum. The plot was more of the usual Saas-Bahu type which we all are familiar with. The show ended on 13 March 2009.
