After Shri Krishna, Swapnil took a break from acting and made a comeback as a youth actor with Sanjeev Bhattacharya’s show Campus. Later on, he did many shows including Amanat, Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand and Bhabhi.

He is now married to Leena Aradhye, a dentist by profession. Earlier, he was married to Aparna Joshi who was also a dentist. He married Aparna in 2005 and got divorced in 2009.
