Rahul Spent an Entire Night With a New Girlfriend; This Might Have Been One Reason For Pratyusha’s Suicide Decision

A lot is being talked about the reasons behind Pratyusha Banerjee’s harsh decision to end her life. But, still the reason behind her suicide is yet to be confirmed as the case in process.

Meanwhile, The distressed boyfriend Rahul who waited outside the postmortem center of Sidharth hospital depressed and inconsolable is heard revealing what perhaps coaxed Pratyusha to hang herself. This is what he was heard saying in the excerpts of the clip below- “On Thursday night we (Pratyusha and Rahul) were at our Goregaon flat located at Harmony Apartment in Mumbai. One of my female friends (Rahul doesn’t reveal her name) joined us at our home in the night. We had drinks, post which during the wee hours of Friday my female friend wanted to go to a Church in Bandra. So, I decided to take her. While Pratyusha was back at home I took my friend to Mount Marry Church in Bandra and back. At four in the morning I returned back and went to sleep with Pratyusha in our room.

“In the morning, after we woke up there were fights between us on few reasons. Pratyusha started drinking. I told her not to drink in the morning but she did not listen to me and later I joined her too,” Rahul added.

“At around 1 pm in the afternoon I had some work and I left home. After almost an hour I called Pratyusha but her phone was switched off. I kept calling her and after several calls she took my call. I asked her if I should bring food from outside to which she said no,” he said.

“I reached home and found the door closed from inside. I asked my neighbour’s servant to go from balcony and open the door from inside. He did that and found Pratyusha hanging from ceiling fan in the hall. I was shocked and numb.  We took off the duppata from her neck and I immediately gave her mouth to mouth respiration to revive her. I had some hope of her survival therefore I picked her and rushed her to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. On the way I called my uncle and even her parents. At the hospital, the doctors also tried to revive her before pronouncing her dead,” he said while talking about his reaction on Pratyusha’s death.

“I never escaped from the spot, I gave my number to cops. I was in touch with one advocate who scared me. He said that if I stay there then Pratyusha’s close friends will harm me and the police too will harass me. Moving away from the hospital to a safe place was my mistake,” he added.

Rahul further revealed that he was in a relationship with Pratyusha and both had pronounced each other as husband and wife. He elaborated, “I was in relationship with Pratyusha from November 2015. I wanted to marry her and I still believe that she is my wife.” While he wept inconsolably, Rahul added, “I take her as my wife. I still believe if that afternoon if I would have not left the house then she wouldn’t have ended her life.”

“Pratyusha had a lot of attitude because of the sudden fame (Balika Vadhu success) in a short period. She always used to put me down. Also, whatever monies she earned was used to transfer it to her parents account. Due to her bad temperament we regularly had fights and chaos over petty domestic issues. I am honest in my relationship,” he concluded saying he is innocent and has no involvement in her death.
