He made his debut as a directer with the short film ‘Rehman Saheb Ko Phone Karna Hai’. Sumeet has directed some episodes of serial ‘Kasturi’, ‘Kkavyanjali‘ and ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’.

Currently, he is seen as Abhimanyu Raghav aka Mani in Star Plus’ daily soap “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”.
