As we all know that Actors need to tailor their looks to work for a long run on the screen. For that many times many actors need to go under serious and intense look changes, to flaunt their body with fitness. Well, it is not easy but it is required at the same time. And here are the television actors who got rid that extra weight to get the Fab body.

1.Juhi Parmar – Popular TV actress Juhi Parmar who is best known for ‘KumKum’, is all set to make a comeback on television. Juhi Parmar took a break from acting when she became a mother. excited to make a come back on TV and for this she lost 17 Kilos.

 

2. Dilip Joshi – popularly known as Jethalal of the popular show, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ shedding almost 10 kgs in last December. He shares for the weight-loss for a healthy lifestyle and he followed a strict diet for it.

 

3. Vahbiz Dorabjee – On a break for the past couple of years is recently seen in ‘Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant’. Some time back she lost 1o Kilos. According to Vahbiz, ” I lost 10 kilos now. I do functional training four to five times a week. It is very difficult and requires a lot of strength and stamina, but I was determined to get back into shape. And I am looking my best as well as feeling my best.”

 

4. Ankit Gera – Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke’ actor Ankit lost 18 kg to plummet the scale from 90 kg to 72 kg.

 

5. Jay Soni – ‘Sasural Genda Phool’ actor Jay Soni, who weighed 93 kg, lost 30 kg in six months. He says, “I lost 4 kg in just 20 days. I quit junk food and started drinking a lot of water. I hit the gym for heavy workouts and also took to skipping.”

 

6. Ragini Khanna – Ragini Khanna who is well known for playing the character of Suhana in ‘Sasural Genda Phool’ lost 7 kgs. She says, ” I only eat what is beneficial for my body and took ample rest as well. Once I got the hang of it, I began enjoying it. I feel fitter and energetic. My skin and hair has become better since I started working out,”

 

7. Rashmi Desai – Rashmi lost around 1o Kilos weight. “I go to my yoga class regularly. If I miss a class in the morning, I make sure to attend in the evening. We, as actors, burn out fast. Yoga helps keeping us fit,” she said.

 

8. Piyush Sahdev – ‘Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev’ and ‘Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke’ fame Piyush Sahdev shares “I had become 110 kg at one point of my life. Shedding that kind of weight seemed very difficult. The movie Karate Kid inspired me and helped me regain the confidence to work towards a good body. I used to work out thrice a day — weight training in the morning, dance class in the evening and a brisk walk for an hour at night. The workout was excruciatingly painful and made me cry. It took me six months to lose 35 kg.

 

9. Aniruddh Dave – What got Aniruddh Dave into acting was his weight since a chubby actor was required for the movie, Teree Sang (2009). “I was 89 kg then. I hail from Jaipur — a city known for its rich food — and couldn’t help but pile on kilos. Then I decided to lose weight,” he said. ‘Phulwa’ actor Aniruddh added “I can’t diet. I avoided carbohydrates and sweets after 7 pm. I kept cheat days when I would eat everything I wanted to. But that would mean a lot of jogging and swimming.”

 

10. Gunjan Utreja – In an interview Gunjan revealed that at a time his weight reach 83 kgs. He Says, “It took me some time to start the weight-loss programme as I had to recover completely,” says he, Madhubala actor adding, “I wanted an athletic physique in three months. I would train twice a day — 60 minutes of functional training, 30 minutes of cardio in mornings and 60 minutes of cardio in evenings. I quit sugar, salt and oily stuff.”

 

11. Parichay Sharma – Parichay Sharma who shot to fame with the reality show ‘Splitsvilla 6′ on MTV India shares “I was very fat in my college days. Peer pressure prompted me to lose weight. It took me a year to become fit. I was on a proper diet with a daily workout regime, which included cardio with a heavy workout for four hours in the morning and only cardio for an hour in the evening. I stopped consuming carb-rich food after 7 pm. I was 110 kg in 2012 and lost 33 kg. I weigh 77 kg now”.

 

12. Shabbir Ahluwalia – Shabbir Ahluwalia who is recently portrays the role of Abhishek Prem Mehra on ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ says “I had to lose weight for my new role, as I was bulky”. Besides hitting the gym, Shabbir also turned to sports to shed kilos. “I would play football, cricket, badminton and squash with my friends. I would go to the gym twice a week. On the whole, I used to exercise seven days a week” he added.
