12 Hindi Television Shows, Some Weird, Some Awesome That Ended Within Few Months Of It’s Launch!

There are many Indian television daily soaps which starts with a bang but makers has to wrapped up with in a few months due to low TRPs or not getting same response from viewers as expected. Here are a few shows that were axed in a short time after they went on air.

1.Pehredaar Piya Ki

Probably for the first time in the history of Indian television, a show has been asked to go off air by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Sony TV’s show “Pehredaar Piya Ki” was infamous for its plotline from the start, actually even before it started. The show was about an 18-year-old woman who is married to a 9-year-old boy. The audience was not ready to accept such content and the show was recently banned. The show wrapped up in less than two months, leaving the cast and crew (including Tejasswi Prakash, Afaan Khan and Suyyash Rai) shocked as they were informed about the decision at the last minute–while they were rehearsing their lines for the next shot.

2. Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai

Star Plus’ show “Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai” had some very popular faces like Surbhi Jyoti, Sharad Kelkar and Shoaib Ibrahim, and the twists were intriguing, yet the show faltered in the ratings department. The story begins on 25 February this year with the love Story of Geetanjali and Captain Abhimanyu Singh Rathore but wrapped up in June 2017.
