This film is the last film of Sridevi’s life. Sridevi laughs in a mother’s roll, in her mom. The film wears the relationship of a mother and her step daughter. Devaki (Sridevi) is a school teacher and is engaged in trying to handle her sour relationship with her student and step daughter Arya. Meanwhile, her daughter Arya gets raped and then the policy of ‘Samadam-Tand-Widand’ is shown for mother’s stride and daughter. To what extent can the mother go for the daughter’s justice Sridevi looted her heart in this role of Devaki.
