Zayed Khan Shares Reason Why He Lost His Stardom In Bollywood; Says ‘Should Have Built My…’

Zayed Khan, who became famous with the movie Main Hoon Na, talked about why his career slowed down. He admitted he didn’t appreciate his fame and didn’t take advice from others. He liked big, expensive movies and thought action movies were better for him. However, he thinks doing movies with many stars hurt his career and he shouldn’t have done them early on.

In an interview, Zayed said, “I thought being famous was easy and didn’t listen to people who told me to do movies where I was the only main actor. Once you’re popular, you need to show you can carry a movie by yourself. That’s a lot of pressure. I wanted to be in big movies and wasn’t used to doing artistic ones. I loved action movies so much that the big ones were always more interesting to me.”

He went on to say, “When many actors work together, it’s easier to pay for the movie. Maybe I did that too soon. I should have become more known before doing big movies. I regret that. Some of those movies didn’t do well. But who wouldn’t agree to be in a movie like ‘Blue’?”

Zayed also said his dad, actor Sanjay Khan, didn’t like his movie choices. They argued about it a lot. His dad had concerns. Zayed admitted that because he was young, he thought he knew everything.

Zayed Khan has acted in movies like Main Hoon Na, Cash, Dus, Vaada, Yuvvraaj, Blue, Anjaana Anjaani, and Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne.
