Vicky Kaushal Turns Beast Mode On For Chhava, Picture Inside

Vicky Kaushal Ready to Conquer History in “Chhava”

Vicky Kaushal, fresh off the success of his film “Sam Bahadur,” is now diving into his next big project: the historical drama “Chhava.”

“Sam Bahadur,” a biography of decorated Indian army officer Sam Manekshaw, recently hit theaters and won both audience hearts and critical praise for Kaushal’s performance. But he’s not resting on his laurels. Already, a glimpse of his dedication to “Chhava” has surfaced on his Instagram.

A recent photo shows Kaushal looking impressively muscular, sporting a charcoal grey T-shirt, a black headband, and a thick beard. The caption simply reads “Chava,” hinting at the film’s title. This transformation promises something different and exciting from Kaushal.

This isn’t the first time Kaushal will collaborate with “Chhava” director Laxman Utekar. They previously partnered on the 2023 comedy romance “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” proving their successful chemistry.

This period drama will see Kaushal share the screen with Rashmika Mandanna, a talented actress known for her recent work in “Animal” alongside Ranbir Kapoor.

Kaushal will reportedly portray Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of Maratha Empire founder Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. “Chhava” aims to explore Sambhaji’s bravery, sacrifices, and military prowess, along with a touching love story between him and his wife.

Mandanna will reportedly undergo voice coaching to perfect her historical character, while Kaushal is busy mastering sword fighting, horseback riding, and archery. Both are putting in the effort to bring their roles to life.

With Kaushal’s proven talent, Utekar’s direction, and a captivating historical story, “Chhava” is shaping up to be a must-watch. It’s an exciting opportunity for Kaushal to further showcase his versatility and for Mandanna to solidify her place as a rising star.

While no release date is confirmed yet, “Chhava” promises to be an epic journey when it arrives. So, keep an eye out for this highly anticipated film!
