The picture was from the sets of their latest movie, “Leo,” which was a huge success. The director, Lokesh Kanagaraj, said he specifically wanted Trisha because she and Vijay look like a real couple. In the movie, they play characters in their 40s with kids, so their real-life friendship helped them act really naturally. The director even admitted he’s not the best at writing love stories, but he did a great job with the romance in “Leo” thanks to Vijay and Trisha’s performances. There are even two scenes in particular where their acting is supposed to be amazing!
A Long-Lasting Popularity
“Leo” wasn’t their only successful movie together. Their film “Ghilli” came out 20 years ago, and it was so popular that they re-released it in theaters recently, and guess what? It was a hit all over again!
