Sharad Kelkar Recalls How Deepika Padukone Shot For This Ram Leela Song Despite Bruises

Deepika Padukone, a famous Bollywood actress known for movies like Om Shanti Om and Chennai Express, starred in another hit film called Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. This movie was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Sharad Kelkar, Deepika’s co-star in the film, talked about her dedication to acting. He said that Deepika hurt her feet while filming the song “Lahu Munh Lag Gaya” and had to dance barefoot. Even though her feet were bruised, she kept dancing for 11 days with bandages wrapped around her foot! Sharad also said that Deepika even helped him learn the dance moves even though she was in pain.

The music for the song “Lahu Munh Lag Gaya” was composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, with lyrics by Siddharth-Garima.

Many other talented actors were also in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela besides Deepika and Sharad. Some of them were Ranveer Singh, Supriya Pathak, and Richa Chadha. People especially loved the way Deepika and Ranveer acted together in the movie. News reports say that they even started dating while filming! They later got married in Italy in a two-day ceremony that respected both of their family’s traditions. Deepika and Ranveer are expecting their first child in September this year.

Deepika also has a new movie coming out soon called Kalki 2898 AD. This science fiction movie is written and directed by Nag Ashwin and will be released in theaters on June 27th. Prabhas and Kamal Haasan are also actors in this movie.
