Sarfira Director Sudha Kongara Calls Akshay Kumar More Ebullient Than Suriya: ‘My First Shot…’

Famous movie director Sudha Kongara is getting ready to release her new movie Sarfira, starring Akshay Kumar. This movie is a remake of a popular Tamil film, Soorarai Pottru, which starred Suriya Sivakumar. Sudha recently talked about the differences between working with Akshay and Suriya. She said Akshay is more outgoing and lively than Suriya, who is more quiet and serious, but very prepared as an actor.

In an interview, Sudha mentioned that there were many differences in making the Hindi and Tamil versions of the film. She said that actors Seema Biswas and Radhika Madan brought a fresh energy to the Hindi version. She also noted that the way Tamil and Hindi actors read and deliver lines is different.

Sudha talked more about the differences between Akshay and Suriya. She said Akshay is much more outgoing and energetic, while Suriya is more focused and quiet. This made their characters in the movie very different from each other, even in similar scenes.

The way Akshay and Suriya work is also different. Suriya is always very prepared and feels he gets better with each take, so they didn’t need to do many takes with him. Akshay, on the other hand, feels his first take is the best. However, Sudha found that Akshay actually gets better with more takes. Akshay has his own way of preparing for scenes, focusing on the emotions involved. Sudha said he was never wrong, even though he took some time to get used to the role at the beginning.

Sarfira also features other actors like Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal, and Seema Biswas. It is set to release in theaters on July 12th.
