What Is Rafah?
Rafah is where the Rafah Border Crossing sits, the only route between the Gaza Strip and Egypt. Once run by Israeli forces, it was handed over to the Palestinian Authority in 2005. Egypt’s 750 Border Guards take charge on their side, following an agreement with Israel in 2005.
What Happened In Rafah?
