Ranbir’s Animal To Cross Rs. 500 Crore. Worldwide Today; To Become The 4th Rs. 500 Cr. Movie Of 2023

The highly anticipated Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial “Animal” has proven to be an unstoppable force since its release last Friday, captivating audiences worldwide. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna, the film opened to a thunderous reception, fueled by strong advance bookings. Animal’s global box office performance has been nothing short of exceptional, swiftly surpassing Rs. 100 crore, Rs. 200 crore, and Rs. 300 crore milestones.

As of its sixth day, Animal has already amassed a staggering Rs. 480.96 crore in just five days, poised to cross the coveted Rs. 500 crore mark at the worldwide box office. Despite being a non-holiday release with an Adults Only certification, Animal has stormed the box office, defying expectations. Its domestic collection stands at Rs. 338.15 crore, while overseas markets have contributed Rs. 142.81 crore, solidifying Animal’s position as one of the biggest money spinners of 2023.

In comparison to other releases of 2023, Animal is on track to become the fourth film to cross the Rs. 500 crore mark, joining the ranks of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (Rs. 1148.32 crore), Pathaan (Rs. 1050.3 crore), and Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s Gadar 2 (Rs. 691.08 crore). Animal has also outperformed other big-ticket releases of 2023, surpassing Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 (Rs. 462.73 crore), Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (Rs. 355.61 crore), and The Kerala Story (Rs. 303.97 crore) within just five days of its release.

With audiences flocking to theaters in droves, Animal’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down. Based on current trends, trade predictions suggest that Animal’s business is likely to experience further growth in the coming days. It is not unreasonable to expect the film to surpass not only the Rs. 500 crore mark but also the Rs. 600 crore milestone at the worldwide box office.
