Preity Zinta Takes a Break to Focus on Life and Returns to the Big Screen

Popular actress Preity Zinta, known for her hit movies like Dil Se, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Veer-Zaara, has been missing from films for a while. But there’s good news for her fans! After a six-year break, she’s back on set, filming a new movie called “Lahore 1947” with actor Sunny Deol.

Preity recently opened up about why she took a break from acting. She explained that she wanted to focus on her personal life and starting a family. While acting is important to her, she also acknowledged the challenges faced by women in the industry. Unlike some actors, she never dated anyone within the film business. She felt it was important to find a personal life outside of acting and have children.

This new movie is produced by the famous actor Aamir Khan. Interestingly, Preity and Sunny Deol are no strangers to working together. They’ve teamed up on several films before, including Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Farz, and Bhaiyaji Superhit. Speaking of comebacks, Sunny Deol himself had a big success last year with his movie Gadar 2.

Right now, Preity Zinta is turning heads at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival with her stunning looks. It seems she’s back in the spotlight and ready to take on new challenges, both on and off screen.
