Parineeti Chopra Shuts Down Pregnancy Rumors with Humor

There had been talk online lately (rumors) that actress Parineeti Chopra might be pregnant. This came after she was seen wearing a loose-fitting dress at a recent event. But Parineeti isn’t letting the rumors bother her.

Parineeti recently went on her Instagram Stories to address the speculation in a lighthearted way. She wrote, “Kaftan dress=pregnancy, oversized shirt=pregnancy, Comfy Indian Kurta=pregnancy (sic).”  She added laughing emojis to show she wasn’t upset by the rumors.

This news comes just as the trailer for Parineeti’s new movie, “Amar Singh Chamkila,” was released today. The movie tells the true story of Amar Singh Chamkila, a Punjabi singer who faced challenges in the music industry. Parineeti plays Amarjot, a character who helps Chamkila become a big star. Sadly, Chamkila’s life is cut short by a tragedy when he’s only 27 years old. The movie explores the ups and downs that often come with chasing your dreams in the world of art.

Netflix announced the release date of Chamkila. The official Instagram handle of the OTT giant read, “Sharing the video, Netflix wrote, “Maahaul bann jaata tha jab vo chedta tha saaz, kuch aisa hi tha Chamkila ka Andaaz (banjo emoji) (A crowd would gather when he sang, such was his style). @imtiazaliofficial ’s AmarSinghChamkila arriving on 12 April, only on Netflix!” Chamkila marks Diljit and director Imtiaz Ali’s first on-screen collaboration.”
