National Film Award 2024: Rishab Shetty Wins Best Actor, Nithya Menen And Mansi Parekh Are Best Actress | Winners List
National Film Award 2024: Rishab Shetty received the Best Actor award for his acclaimed role in Kantara. The Best Actress award was shared by Nithya Menen for Thiruchitrambalam and Mansi Parekh for Kutch Express. This year, the Tamil film Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1, directed by Mani Ratnam, won the Best Tamil Film award. Based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s novel, the historical epic about the Chola dynasty also earned accolades for A. R. Rahman (Best Composer), Ravi Varman (Best Cinematographer), and Anand Krishnamurthy (Best Sound Design).
The Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has announced the winners of the 70th National Film Awards. This year’s awards recognized films released in 2022, with the ceremony delayed due to the pandemic. The Malayalam film Aattam won the Best Film award, while KGF Chapter 2 also took home several accolades.
