The movie was first called Prabhas 21, then Project K, and was announced in 2020. They started filming in 2021 but had to stop and start again a few times because of the pandemic. They finally finished filming in 2024 and announced the real title in 2023. The movie has music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic, and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. It cost a lot of money to make, about 72 million US dollars, making it the most expensive Indian movie ever made.
