Kakuda Trailer: After Munjya’s Success, Director Aditya Sarpotdar Brings Another Spooky Comedy, WATCH
July 3, 2024A new horror-comedy movie called Kakuda. Aditya Sarpotdar directed Kakuda, following the success of his horror-comedy Munjya.
The story takes place in a haunted village called Ratodim, where every house has two doors: a small one and a large one. The villagers use the small doors to appease a ghost named Kakuda.
The plot follows a couple named Indira and Sunny who move to Ratodim after they get married. On their wedding night, Sunny forgets to open the small door, which angers Kakuda. The ghost curses Sunny with a hump that will grow larger every day until he dies on the thirteenth day.
Indira seeks help from Victor, a ghost hunter played by Riteish Deshmukh. The trailer suggests that the movie will be a combination of horror and comedy, similar to Sarpotdar’s previous film Munjya and other horror-comedy Bollywood movies like Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Stree.
The movie stars Sonakshi Sinha, Saqib Saleem, and Riteish Deshmukh. This is the first movie Sonakshi Sinha has acted in since her wedding. The movie will be released on Zee5 on July 5, 2024.
