Juhi Chawla REVEALS Reason Behind Her Low Key Wedding With Jay Mehta; Says ‘I Broke Down One Day…’

Juhi Chawla was a big star in Bollywood in the 90s, loved by many fans. However, when she married businessman Jay Mehta in 1995, many of her admirers were heartbroken. They have two children, Jhanvi and Arjun. Recently, Juhi shared why she had a small, private wedding instead of inviting many people from the film industry.

Juhi lost her mother a year before her wedding. She felt very sad about this and wasn’t sure how to feel happy about getting married when her career might also change. One day, she talked to her mother-in-law about how she felt. Her mother-in-law understood and said it was okay.

Juhi was working on some very important films at that time and her wedding was getting closer. She felt like she was losing everything she loved.

Although 2000 invitations had been sent out to people around the world, Juhi’s mother-in-law convinced her family to have a smaller wedding. As a result, Juhi got married at home with only family and close friends, about 80-90 people. She was amazed that her mother-in-law even canceled invitations that had already been sent.

Juhi’s most recent work was in a web series called “The Railway Men”, directed by Shiv Rawail. The show on Netflix was about the Bhopal Gas Tragedy in 1984. It also starred other actors like Babil Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu, and others.
