Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s highly anticipated action film, Jigra, has secured a U/A rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film, which is set to hit theaters on October 11, has a runtime of 155 minutes (2 hours and 35 minutes).

Directed by Vasan Bala and co-written by Debashish Irengbam, Jigra is co-produced by Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shaheen Bhatt, and Soumen Mishra under Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film follows Satya (Alia), a young woman whose only remaining connection is her imprisoned brother Ankur (Vedang). When Ankur finds himself in dire straits in a foreign jail, Satya must become a hero and embark on a daring mission to rescue him.

The film’s trailer has already generated buzz, showcasing Alia’s intense performance and the thrilling action sequences. The trailer begins with a tense phone call where Satya learns of Ankur’s arrest. Overwhelmed with worry, she pleads with him to reveal any mistakes he might have made and if his blood tests will come back clean. The scene then shifts to a courtroom in a foreign land, where Ankur appears lost and confused.

Determined to save her brother, Satya embarks on a perilous journey to the foreign country holding him captive. The trailer showcases Alia’s impressive stunts, evasion tactics, and unwavering determination to rescue Ankur from the harsh realities of prison. Despite facing numerous obstacles, Satya remains steadfast in her mission.

In addition to Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, Jigra also stars Aditya Nanda, Manoj Pahwa, Yuvraj Vijan, and Harssh Singh in supporting roles. With its gripping storyline, talented cast, and thrilling action sequences, Jigra is poised to be a must-watch film for audiences.
