An overseas censor board member, Umair Sandhu, shared his first review of “Jigra” on X (formerly Twitter). Unfortunately, the review is not positive, describing the film as “dull and boring.” Sandhu criticized Alia Bhatt’s performance, calling it her weakest and most boring to date. He also found the plot to be nonsensical and lacking in entertainment value.

However, Alia Bhatt’s mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, attended a screening of the film and had a completely different impression. She took to Instagram to share a photo of Alia and expressed her praise, writing, “Alia you nailed it” with five stars.
Plot Details:
“Jigra” revolves around Satya, a young woman played by Alia Bhatt, who had a difficult childhood. Her only remaining connection is her brother, Ankur, who is imprisoned and tortured in a foreign jail. Satya transforms into a hero, determined to break her brother out of prison and bring him to safety.
Release Date and Competition:
“Jigra” is scheduled to release on October 11th, coinciding with the Dussehra holiday. It will be competing with other highly anticipated films like “Vicky Video Ka Woh Wala Video” and “Vettaiyan.”
