‘In A World Full Of Violence…’: Rashmika Mandanna Shares She Questioned Her Character & Actions In Animal

A week after its theatrical release on December 8th, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal” has become a box office smash. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, has been met with immense success since its debut. Joining Ranbir are Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles. Now, Rashmika has offered insight into her character and expressed her appreciation for the audience’s positive response.

Taking to Instagram, Rashmika wrote, “Gitanjali ️If I were to describe her in a sentence… it would be the only force at home holding her family together. ✨She is pure, real, unfiltered, strong and raw…At times as an actor, I would question some of Gitanjali’s actions… And I remember my director telling me – this was their story… Ranvijay’s & Gitanjali’s.. it was their love and passion, their families and their lives – this is who they are.”

Animal has completed a week at the theatres and the box office collection hints that the film is far from done with its run at the cinemas. In just one week, the film has surpassed Rs 300 crore. As per reports, Animal has collected Rs 338.85 crores in its opening week at the box office. The film has recorded the third biggest opening week of this year.
