In an interview with PTI, Sunny expressed his happiness and appreciation for Bobby’s performance in the film but he also revealed he did not like some things about Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial. “I am genuinely happy for Bobby. I have watched Animal, and I liked it, it’s a nice film. There are certain things that I did not like, which I don’t like in many films including my own films. But that’s as a person I have the right to like or not like but in totality it is a nice film. The music is very good and it goes hand in glove with the sequences. Bobby has always been Bobby, but now he is Lord Bobby,” Sunny Deol said.

Bobby Deol has shed his skin and stepped into the unsettling reality of Abrar Haque, the enigmatic antagonist of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal.” More than just your typical bad guy, Bobby interprets Abrar as a man consumed by the shadows of his past, where a childhood tragedy cast an eternal darkness.

Abrar, a mute gangster, carries the weight of his grandfather’s suicide on his shoulders. The act robbed him of his voice, leaving him with a burning desire for vengeance. Bobby doesn’t see him as a villain, but as a child forever haunted by that fateful day. It’s this unique perspective that gives Abrar complexity, depth, and a chilling kind of vulnerability.

This year, the Deol brothers have enjoyed a triumphant homecoming. Sunny’s “Gadar 2” roared at the box office, while Bobby’s masterful performance in “Animal” has garnered widespread praise. The film throws a spotlight not only on their individual talents but also on the twisted family dynamics at its core.

Ranbir Kapoor shines as Ranvijay Singh, a son bound by an all-consuming protectiveness towards his father, played by the veteran Anil Kapoor. This devotion edges towards obsession, blurring the lines between love and control. Their father-son relationship, fraught with tension and complexity, forms the beating heart of the narrative.

The film isn’t confined by language barriers. Released on December 1st in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, “Animal” promises a wild ride across India’s cinematic landscape. With its dark undertones, intense performances, and a gripping family drama at its core, “Animal” is poised to leave a lasting mark on audiences.

Bobby Deol’s Abrar isn’t your run-of-the-mill villain. He’s a haunted soul, a product of grief and vengeance, and Bobby’s nuanced portrayal gives him a chilling kind of humanity. So, brace yourself for a dive into the depths of darkness, where family ties twist and unravel, and where secrets from the past claw their way into the present. “Animal” isn’t just a film; it’s a haunting exploration of the human psyche, reminding us that sometimes, the monsters we fear most are forged in the fires of our own tragedy.
