Hina Khan Shaves Off Her Head Amid Cancer Treatment, Says ‘Very Very Stressful, Painful…’ | Video

Hina Khan, who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, recently chose to shave her head. In a video shared on Instagram, she explained that the sight of her hair falling out was ‘painful and stressful,’ leading her to take this step. Hina also posted images of her fallen hair on her pillow and clothes. In her message, she encouraged fellow cancer patients to remain mentally strong, emphasising her commitment to staying positive and managing stress throughout her journey.

Taking to her Instagram, she said, “You can win this only if you embrace it, accept it, and I choose to accept my battle scars because I believe if you embrace yourself, you are a step closer towards your healing and I really want to heal and focus on that aspect of my life. I don’t want to go through that process where every time I put my hand in my hair, a bunch of hair falls. It is very stressful and depressing. I don’t want to go through that.”

Expressing how seeing her hair fall out has been a source of stress and depression, she added, “Mujhe usse pehle hi mere jo control mein hai mujhe uske steps lene hai (I want to take charge of what is in my control). I know how hard it is. It is very very stressful, painful. Don’t put yourself through all this. Simply buzz it off before it starts falling. That’s what I am going to do. Remember you are still you and nothing is gonna change. In fact, you are more beautiful. Embrace the new version of yourself, this new truth, this new journey with every breath, cell and in every way possible.”

Hina Khan announced her stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis to her fans on social media on June 28. In her Instagram post, she shared the heartbreaking news and reassured everyone that her treatment had commenced and she was doing well. “Hello Everyone, To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger,” Hina wrote.
