Deepika Padukone’s Pregnancy Didn’t Stop Her From Filming Intense Climax In Kalki 2898 AD

Deepika Padukone’s character, SU-M80 or Sumathi, is a pregnant lab test subject. In a recent interview, Saswata Chatterjee, who plays Commander Manas, talked about filming the challenging climax scene where he had to drag Deepika’s character by her hair while she was actually pregnant in real life.
This intense scene was shot in Mumbai. Saswata mentioned that Deepika’s husband, Ranveer Singh, was present during the filming. He reassured Ranveer that a body double would be used for the more physically demanding parts of the scene.
Ranveer, known for his energetic personality, was described as very polite and humble. Deepika and Ranveer, who got married in 2018, are expecting their first baby in September. They shared the exciting news with a cute social media post in February.
After Kalki 2898 AD, Deepika will be starring in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
