Boney Kapoor Rejects Arshad Warsi’s Underpayment Claims, Film’s Director Pankaj Parashar Backs Him Up

Arshad Warsi’s Claim of Underpayment Creates a Stir

Arshad Warsi has been in the news a lot lately because of an interview he did. First, he got in trouble for saying he didn’t like Prabhas’ acting in the movie “Kalki 2898 AD.” Now, he’s caused another stir by saying he was underpaid for his work on an old movie.

Arshad said that he was supposed to get 1 lakh rupees (₹100,000) for choreographing a song in the 1993 movie “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja,” but he only got 75,000 rupees. He said he finished the work in three days instead of the planned four, so he thought he should get paid more, not less.

Boney Kapoor’s Response

Boney Kapoor, the producer of the movie, laughed when he heard about Arshad’s claim. He said Arshad wasn’t a famous actor back then, so no one would have paid him that much money. He also said that the director, Pankaj Parashar, finished the song in three days, not Arshad.

Kapoor also said that Arshad never mentioned this to him before, even when they worked together on a TV show recently. He thinks Arshad is just trying to get attention from the media.

Pankaj Parashar’s Response

The director, Pankaj Parashar, also said he didn’t know about the payment details. He thinks Arshad was just joking. But he also pointed out that it was he, the director, who finished the song in three days, not Arshad.

Parashar said he doesn’t want to make a big deal out of this and is happy to let Arshad take the credit.
