The production designer for Animal, Suresh Selvarajan, revealed that the 500-kilogram machine gun was entirely handcrafted from real steel. It took four months to build this impressive piece of machinery.

“I never saw such a thing happen for any Indian film. It was Sandeep’s (director) vision,” Selvarajan remarked about the extraordinary machine gun.
