Adah Sharma Wants Justice for Kolkata Doctor

The terrible rape and murder of a young doctor in Kolkata has made a lot of people angry. Many people are protesting and demanding that the people who did this be punished.

Actress Adah Sharma, who was in the movie ‘The Kerala Story,’ spoke out about this on Instagram. She wants the criminals to be punished harshly, so that other women don’t have to go through the same thing.

Adah’s Response to a Comment

Someone on Instagram told Adah she should make a movie about what happened, instead of talking about other things. Adah replied that even if a movie was made, some people would still say it’s not a big deal and that West Bengal is safe.

She also said that when her movie ‘The Kerala Story’ came out, it was banned in West Bengal. But even with the ban, the movie was very successful.

Supreme Court Condemns the Crime

The Supreme Court of India also talked about this case. They said it was a horrible crime and criticized the West Bengal government for taking too long to start an investigation.

The court also questioned the hospital about what they did after the incident. They were surprised to learn that the head of the medical college first tried to say the doctor killed herself.

The court also criticized the Kolkata police for letting a big crowd enter the medical college. They also questioned why the head of the college was given a new job at another place while he was still being investigated.
