Bio:

Abhijeet Sawant is remembered for winning the very first season of massively popular singing reality show ‘Indian Idol’. In 2005, his first solo album ‘Aapka Abhijeet Sawant’ came out. Sawant has lent his voice to various hit tracks, includng ‘Marjawan’ from ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’. In 2007, he participated in Asian Idol singing content and finished at third position. The same year, his second album ‘Junoon – Abhijeet Sawant’ was out. He made a small appearance in Akshay Kumar‘s ‘Tees Maar Khan‘ and appeared in Spraymint’s commercial. He is also associated with Maharastra-based political party Shiv Sena.
