Ulajh Box Collection Day 2: Janhvi Kapoor-Starrer Shows Little Growth After Slow Start

Ulajh Box Office Collection Day 2: Janhvi Kapoor is back on the big screen with her thriller movie ‘Ulajh’. She plays the role of a young Indian Foreign Services (IFS) officer in ‘Ulajh’, who is accused of being a traitor. Apart from Janhvi, the movie also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Meiyang Chang, Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles. The movie has been receiving a good response from the critics but started off slow at the box office.

According to the website Sacnilk, ‘Ulajh’ collected Rs 1.70 crore on day 2 as per early estimates. Its total collection now stands at approximately Rs 2.85 crore.

The official description of ‘Ulajh’ reads, “The journey of a young diplomat, belonging to a prominent family of patriots, who gets embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while far from her home turf, at a career-defining post.”Talking about her role in ‘Ulajh’, Janhvi said that the movie will make her break out of her comfort zone. “When I was approached with the script of Ulajh, it instantly attracted me because as an actor, I am constantly looking for scripts that make me break out of my comfort zone and portray a character based in the celebrated world of the Indian Foreign Services was just that. Just as the name of the film suggests, my character and the story has so many layers, emotions, and parameters, which is challenging and exciting at the same time,” Janhvi said in a statement.
