Raayan: A Box Office Hit in its First Week

Raayan, Dhanush’s 50th movie, has done very well in its first week at the box office. The action-packed movie, released in Tamil and Telugu on July 26th, has been popular with audiences and made a good amount of money. Even though it came out on a weekday, a lot of people went to see it. The movie has a great cast, including SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, and others, with some surprise appearances by famous actors.

In its first six days, Raayan made about ₹56.85 crore in India. On its seventh day, it earned around ₹3.25 crore, bringing the total to ₹60.10 crore. Even though the earnings decreased a little, the number of people watching the movie stayed mostly the same.

On August 1st, 17.80% of the seats were filled for the Tamil version of the movie, with most people watching it at night. The Telugu version had a slightly lower percentage of seats filled.

Raayan was made with a budget of ₹90 crore, including the cost of making and promoting the movie. It is a crime thriller set in North Chennai. Dhanush, who also directed and wrote the movie, has been praised for his acting.

The movie tells the story of a man who wants revenge after his family is killed and ends up involved in crime. People have liked the movie’s exciting story and music, which was composed by AR Rahman.
