ELLIOT PAGE WILL BE OFFERED MORE ROLES AFTER TRANSGENDER ANNOUNCEMENT

Elliot Page came out as a transgender a few months ago. Despite the fact that he had already played several major films such as Juno , Inception and X-Men: The Last Stand , Page says he is now getting more offers than in previous years.

It is not only about acting, but also about producing and even directing. For example, Page says: “ Some roles are transgender related, others are real male roles .

Good feeling
Page loves it all: “ I am now completely myself and feel good about myself. I am very enthusiastic about my acting career and am happy that I still have so much work. The challenges and difficult moments that preceded it cannot compete with how I feel now ”.

“ It’s a big difference from the past when I was encouraged to wear something feminine for events like movie premieres and photo shoots. Because of this I did not recognize myself. I just couldn’t look at a picture of myself and watching my own movies was difficult, especially when I had a really more ‘feminine’ role ”.

”I didn’t know how to explain to people that even as an actor, I felt very uncomfortable wearing a t-shirt meant for women. It was a terrible feeling. I couldn’t make myself clear, but now I am finally really who I want to be! ”
