Bollywood celebrities, including Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Lara Dutta, Boney Kapoor, and Vaani Kapoor, took to social media to express their grief and pay homage to the iconic figure who had inspired millions.

Salman Khan shared, “Deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Ratan Tata.”

Ajay Devgn shared an emotional message, “The world mourns the loss of a visionary. Ratan Tata’s legacy will forever inspire generations. His contributions to India and beyond are immeasurable. We are deeply grateful. Rest in peace, Sir. 🙏”

Boney Kapoor honored Tata’s legacy, writing, “A legendary business icon, a thoughtful leader, a visionary, a global inspiration, a benevolent philanthropist, and an avid investor for startups, Shri Ratan Tata has inspired generations of Indians. The country salutes his patriotism, dedication, and excellence. #RIPRatanTata #RatanTata @RNTata2000.”

 

Sanjay Dutt wrote, “India has lost a true visionary today. He was a beacon of integrity and compassion whose contributions went beyond business, impacting countless lives. May his soul find peace. 🙏🏼✨”

Veteran actress Simi Garewal was deeply affected by his loss, tweeting, “They say you have gone… It’s too hard to bear your loss… too hard… Farewell my friend… #RatanTata.”

Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “असा माणूस पुन्हा होणे नाही. Deeply saddened to know that Shri #RatanTata ji is no more. Condolences to the family and loved ones. Rest In Glory Sir.”

Sushmita Sen took to her Instagram and said, “What an honourable human being!! Rest in peace Sir.” Riddhima Kapoor Sahni wrote, “Rest in peace Sir Ratan Tata.” Sangeeta Bijlani added, “Such an amazing and inspiring soul. RIP #RatanTata Sir.”
Vaani Kapoor echoed the thoughts of many, saying, “Deeply saddened by this news. A man of immense generosity and heart. A leader who believed in giving back. His values of integrity, humility, and compassion will continue to inspire & guide future generations. Rest in peace Sir.”
Actress Lara Dutta shared her heartfelt message, posting, “Dear Sir… you were a giant amongst men… a shining beacon of light has gone out today… #RestinPeace #RatanTata #RIP #OmShanti 🙏🙏🙏.”

Athiya Shetty, Siddhanth Kapoor, and casting director Mukesh Chhabra also joined in paying heartfelt tributes on social media.

In the early 2000s, he ventured into film production, co-producing the 2004 Bollywood thriller “Aetbaar.” This gripping romantic psychological drama, directed by Vikram Bhatt, featured Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham, and Bipasha Basu in lead roles. Inspired by the 1996 Hollywood thriller “Fear,” “Aetbaar” showcased Tata’s artistic side and further endeared him to the public.
