Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video: Triptii Dimri On Madhuri Dixit Inspiration, Performing In First Dance Number

Triptii Dimri, a rising star known for her great acting, is getting a lot of attention for her role in the movie “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video” alongside Rajkummar Rao. In this film, set in the 1990s, she plays Vidya, a girl from the small town of Rishikesh. The movie’s trailer already showed how talented she is, and now, she’s winning hearts with her performance in the new song, “Mere Mehboob.”

Triptii was thrilled to be part of her first-ever solo dance number in this song. She was very grateful and excited to work with famous artists like Sachin-Jigar (the music composers), Shilpa Rao and Sachet Tandon (the singers), and Ganesh Masterji (the choreographer). She said, “This song is really special because it’s my first dance song. When your very first song is created by such amazing people, what more could you want? I’m so thankful and happy!”

In “Mere Mehboob,” Triptii shows off her dancing skills in a beautiful blue outfit, surrounded by dancers. The song also has a romantic rain scene with Rajkummar Rao, reminding us of classic Bollywood movies.

Triptii said she was inspired by famous Bollywood dances from the ’90s, especially those by Raveena Tandon and Katrina Kaif in the song “Tip Tip Barsa Pani.” She was a bit nervous about her first dance performance, but Ganesh Masterji and his team helped her feel comfortable. She said, “I watched their dances while practicing, but I can’t compare myself to them—they’re just too good! Shooting this song was a lot of fun. Ganesh sir and his team were amazing. I was nervous, but he made it easy for me. He told me to just have fun and not worry about anything.”

Triptii also shared that she’s always loved Madhuri Dixit’s dances and used to copy them when she was growing up. Madhuri Dixit is a very famous Bollywood actress known for her dancing. Triptii said, “Madhuri Ma’am—I’m a huge fan of hers. I used to dance to all her songs. She’s always been my favorite.”

Triptii has a bright future ahead with several exciting projects coming up. She’ll be in “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” and “Dhadak 2.” She’s also going to play the main role in a new action movie directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. We can expect to see more great performances from her in the future!
