What was the question?
On Kaun Banega Crorepati, Ram Kishor Pandit, also known as Guddy Bhaiyya, faced a challenging question for Rs 80,000. The question read, “Which of these players, all of whom were IPL team captains in the year 2024, has never played a test match for India? Option A) Shreyas Iyer, B) Hardik Pandya, C) Sanju Samson, D) Rishabh Pant.”

He informed Amitabh Bachchan that he needed to use another lifeline after having already exhausted the Audience Poll. Given the choice between Video Call a Friend and Double Dip, Ram opted for the Video Call. He chose from three contacts—Siddharth Gautam, Gaurav Pandey, and Shyam Mohan Sharma—but did not receive the assistance he needed. Subsequently, Ram used the Double Dip lifeline. He first selected Option A, Shreyas Iyer, but was informed that it was incorrect. He then chose Option C, Sanju Samson, which was the correct answer.

The esteemed host provided some context about Sanju Samson, noting, “Sanju was the long-time captain of the Rajasthan Royals and did not play any Test matches for India.”
