Thangalaan FIRST Review Out: ‘Best Film’ Of Vikram’s Career

Thangalaan is ready to release in theaters on August 15, 2024, during the Independence Day weekend. The movie stars Chiyaan Vikram as a strong tribal leader who fights against a sorceress. He helped a British general find gold in his village, and this angered the sorceress. The first reviews of the movie are already out.

Thangalaan‘s first review is from an Indian producer who saw the movie. He was impressed and said, “I am very happy with how Thangalaan turned out. I’ve already seen it. We’re planning to release it in August. I’m surprised by how much effort Vikram put into this movie. He gave his everything to make Ranjith’s vision a reality. I was really shocked after watching it.”

The producer is sure that Thangalaan will be the best movie of Vikram’s career. He believes it will be even more famous and appreciated than all his other movies.

Thangalaan is a Tamil action-adventure movie directed by Pa. Ranjith. It’s produced by Studio Green, Neelam Productions, and Jio Studios. The movie stars Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and others. The story happens during the British Raj era. It’s about a strong tribal leader who fights against a sorceress after helping a British general find gold in his village.

The movie was announced in December 2021 as Chiyaan 61 (Vikram’s 61st lead role). The title was revealed in October 2022. Filming took place from October 2022 to July 2023 in different places like Chennai, Andhra Pradesh, Madurai, and Karnataka. The movie has music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by A. Kishor Kumar, and editing by Selva RK.
